The PKU Gateway application is a free tool developed and maintained by the Computer Center at Peking University, designed to facilitate seamless access to the campus network for students, faculty, and staff within the university premises. Supporting both Chinese and English languages, the app is compatible with iPhone and iPad devices.
Key functionalities include:
- Providing a straightforward method to connect to the PKU Gateway network.
- Displaying all active connections with options to disconnect as needed.
- Allowing users to pay campus network usage fees digitally.
- Enabling password resets through registered mobile devices at the Computer Center.
- Delivering important notifications related to the campus network.
- Potential integration into the iOS Notification Center's Today view (iOS 8 or later) for quick access.
The application credits contributions from developers Jia Yang, Xiaonan Li, Yang Zhang, and Hanyu Liu. Appreciation is extended to Cody Abbey from Yenching Academy of Peking University for assistance with localization efforts.
